Target: President Donald Trump and the United States Government
Goal: We call on President Trump and the U.S. government to uphold Ukraine’s right to self-determination, ensure transparency in all negotiations with Russia, and strengthen—not weaken—NATO’s commitment to Eastern European security.
The upcoming summit between President Trump and President Putin has alarmed many around the world who value democracy, human rights, and international law. Reports suggest that the voices of Ukraine and its European allies are being sidelined, while discussions about Ukraine's future and the security of NATO's eastern flank take place without adequate transparency or respect for Ukrainian agency.
Ukraine has the right to determine its own future, free from foreign interference or coercion. Any negotiations that ignore this principle undermine the foundations of international law and the security of democratic nations. Furthermore, any reduction in NATO's presence in Eastern Europe would embolden authoritarian aggression and leave vulnerable nations exposed.
We urge President Trump and the U.S. government to commit to open, multilateral diplomacy that centers the voices of Ukraine and its allies, rejects any territorial concessions to Russia, and reinforces the security guarantees that have preserved peace in Europe for decades.
