Target: US President, UK Prime Minister, French President, EU Leaders, and the United Nations
Goal: Urge world leaders, including the US, UK, France, and the EU, to reject any peace agreement that trades Ukrainian land for a ceasefire, undermines accountability for war crimes, or compromises Ukraine’s right to self-determination and security.
The Trump-Putin Ukraine peace summit risks legitimizing Russia’s illegal occupation of Ukrainian territory and undermining international law. More than three years of war have left Ukraine devastated, with Russia occupying about a fifth of the country and demanding even more land in exchange for a ceasefire. Ukraine’s government and people have made clear: surrendering territory to an invader is unacceptable.
Any peace process must prioritize the immediate return of forcibly transferred Ukrainian children, the release of all prisoners of war, and the pursuit of justice for war crimes, including those committed by Russian forces. The international community must also ensure that Russia contributes to the reconstruction of Ukraine and that Ukrainian sovereignty, including the right to determine its own security arrangements, is respected.
We call on global leaders to stand firm against any agreement that rewards aggression, erases accountability, or sacrifices the rights and future of the Ukrainian people for short-term political expediency.
