Demand Transparent, Just, and Inclusive Peace Talks for Ukraine—No Deals Without Ukraine at the Table

The upcoming Alaska summit between President Trump and President Putin marks a critical moment for the future of Ukraine and European security. Reports indicate that Ukraine’s President Zelenskiy was not invited to the initial talks, raising serious concerns about the legitimacy and fairness of any agreements reached without Ukraine’s direct involvement.

History has shown that peace cannot be achieved through deals made over the heads of those most affected. Any agreement that cedes Ukrainian territory or disregards the voices of the Ukrainian people is not a path to peace, but a recipe for further instability and injustice. The rights of Ukrainians to self-determination, security, and democratic governance must not be traded away for political expediency or short-term diplomatic gains.

We call on President Trump, U.S. officials, and the international community to:

• Reject any negotiations or deals that exclude Ukraine from the table.
• Oppose any territorial concessions forced upon Ukraine.
• Ensure that any ceasefire or peace agreement upholds international law, human rights, and Ukraine’s sovereignty.
• Maintain and strengthen sanctions against Russia until a just and lasting peace is achieved.
• Support robust security guarantees and post-war reconstruction for Ukraine.
