Target: The White House, US State Department, and Congressional Foreign Affairs Committees
Goal: Demand that US leaders uphold Ukraine's territorial integrity and reject any deal that legitimizes Russian occupation or forces Ukraine to cede land.
Recent reports indicate that the US administration is considering a settlement with Russia that would hand over large portions of Ukrainian territory in exchange for a ceasefire. President Trump has signaled a willingness to negotiate land swaps, raising alarm among Ukrainians and European allies who fear that such concessions would reward aggression and undermine international law.
Any agreement that recognizes Russia's illegal annexation of Crimea and other regions, or that pressures Ukraine to accept reduced sovereignty, sets a dangerous precedent. It undermines the right of nations to self-determination and encourages further acts of military aggression worldwide.
We call on US leaders to reject any deal that legitimizes territorial conquest and to stand firmly for Ukraine's internationally recognized borders. Peace must be achieved through diplomacy, justice, and respect for international law—not through the forced ceding of land.
